We updated a cloudflare configuration rule at approximately 1AM PT which caused 500 error issues for 11 Mintlify hosted sites we know of including our own.

There were two scenarios where there was an issue. The first was for sites which were being served from multiple subdomains or base paths like both docs and www or /docs/ and /guides. Our cache key took this into account and the system would break if it had cached a document for a given subdomain or base path and then received a request for a second one.

Secondarily, the cloudflare configuration was incorrectly applied to a few different sites which had authentication enabled. Nothing was leaked for these sites, but they did become temporarily unavailable.

We have resolved the root cause behind these issues and also added additional monitoring to catch them more proactively in the future.
